The heart of the Touch 2100 is the compact Digital Control System (DCS), which combines the spindle drive, axis drives and control CPU. This results in significantly higher performance than traditional analog systems used on most other machines. DCS provides more accurate circular interpolation and much faster high speed machining. In addition, the 2100 provides a regenerative drive system which reduces electrical consumption.

Control Options

OPT-4230		AUTOMATIC TOOL AND PART PROBE PACKAGE
		This package includes table mounted tool probe to auto set the tool length offset and a wired part probe to auto set pocket centers, bosses, and find edges. The simple graphical interface included gives the operator the fastest set-up possible.

OPT-2322		3 ELECTRONIC HANDWHEEL PACKAGE
		This unique package makes set-up even easier by allowing you to manually run the machine using the dual electronic handwheels for the X & Y axes as well as a 3rd handwheel which allows simple movement of the head up and down. The handwheels are mounted in a comfortable position on the front of the machine and can also be used to control the machine in Handwheel Run Mode. A joy stick and a course/fine speed control switch are included on the box as well. The package is completed with the addition of electronic stops that allow you to move to a position but not exceed it.

OPT-1111		FULL MACHINE GUARD

STD		AXIS UNLOCK
		This is a new standard feature on the MB-Q Series. When working in Manual mode, this simple yet important feature allows the user to keep the X & Y axes in a locked position until needed. Simply toggle the Y MAN or X MAN buttons to enable or disable movement of the axis.

		Easy-to-use software package that installs on a standard desktop PC and duplicates the control functions. Allows full programming and part program verification.
