Rugged, heavy duty 50 taper performance defines the HD Series machining centers. The standard 50 taper spindle utilizes a digital Heidenhain 30 HP spindle motor and a high torque ZF gearbox to produce 475 ft/lbs of torque at 350 RPM. Combined with heavy duty square box ways, 24 tool arm type ATC and 1,200 IPM rapids for the ultimate in cutting performance. Fully digital control and drives combined with fast set-up and conversational programming maximize performance. Dollar-for-dollar no builder matches the rigidity and performance of the Fryer HD Series.
