- HIGH RESOLUTION TOUCH SCREEN: This feature allows the user to select menus and options by simply touching the screen. All of the standard manual buttons are still accessible. The touch screen makes selecting geometry when importing DXF files simple and efficient.
- EVENT REPEAT: This unique feature simplifies repeating operations eliminating complicated sub-routines providing an easy, efficient way for multiple part machining.
- MILL CYCLE: The Fryer automatic milling cycle allows the user to machine contours and pockets automatically. The cycle turns on cutter comp and automatically steps the Z axis to the required depth.
- ENGRAVING CYCLE: The exclusive Fryer engraving cycle allows the user to type in the words to be engraved together with the size and depth. The function is performed automatically in one step.
- RIGID TAPPING: All Fryer toolroom mills equipped with the 3000 Touch control can be fitted with optional Rigid Tapping cycle.

- BUILT-IN DXF TRANSLATOR: This easy-to-use feature allows the user to import standard DXF files right at the machine greatly reducing programming time.
- Contours: Contours are selected by simply touching the screen which converts features into standard conversational line and arch moves.
- Hole Selection: By touching the screen, hole locations are automatically converted to the X and Y positions for use in drilling cycles.

 Conversational Programming
The simple menu conversational programming system allows you to program parts quickly right at the machine. Operators do not need to remember any complex codes but instead select operations and fill in the plain language menus.
In addition, the ANILAM-FRYER 3000 TOUCH can run standard G & M codes and is fully compatible with CAD-CAM systems.
The ANILAM-FRYER 3000 TOUCH control has a comprehensive set of canned cycles. These are programming shortcuts for common machining tasks. The machinist is prompted for a few dimensions and the control will automatically generate the whole cycle.

Programming usually involves a lot of calculations. ANILAM's integrated programming tools make it easy for the machinist to do all these direct at the control. The ANILAM-FRYER 3000 TOUCH controls have a 3-mode calculator including:
- Math calculator with trigonometric functions
- Right triangle calculator
- Geometry calculator
 3D Graphic Verify
Full 3D part program verification allows you to quickly check your part program prior to running it. This powerful feature allows the user to zoom, pan, scale and see the part in different planes such as XY, XZ, YZ and full isometric.
